HS Hoops

Several finalists are yet do be determined for boys basketball championship games to be played tomorrow night. In Farmington, the Rockridge Rockets meet Fieldcrest for the right to play Monmouth-Roseville in Friday's sectional final. The Titans advanced with last night's 74-48 rout of Tremont. In class 4A play at East Moline, a pair of Peoria area schools will battle, as Richwoods meets Pekin. The winner gets Rock Island tomorrow night, after the Rocks topped Moline last night 72-55.

Here in Galesburg, all is quiet after both semifinal games were played last night. Top-seed Quincy Notre Dame pummeled the Alleman Pioneers 70-27, and that was followed by Galesburg's 63-45 win over Canton. The top two seeds will battle for the Regional title tomorrow night. Broadcast time is 7:06 tomorrow night here on WGIL.

College

The Carl Sandburg Chargers mens basketball team will try to keep their season alive tonight at John Lewis Gymnasium. The Chargers host Black Hawk in the opening game of the Region 4 Tournament at 7:30. CSC is 19-11 this season, but have lost both games to Black Hawk in Arrowhead Conference play.
