Rushville-Industry scored three runs in the first inning and beat Abingdon 5-4

Galva-Williamsfield lost to Erie-Prophetstown 5-2

Brimfield-Elmwood shut out Henry 11-0

Farmington upended Delavan 6-2

Fulton downed Stark County 6-2

Kewanee blanked Mercer County 4-0

Macomb defeated Havana 12-2


High School Softball

United moved to 2-0 on the season with a 15-0 victory against Williamsfield. Katie Bertlesen allowed just one hit and recorded 13 strikeouts to earn the win. United scored seven runs in the first inning and cruised from there. Sommer Foster led the offense with three hits and four runs batted in. Augusta Chandler added two hits and three RBIs and Alex Fell drove in two runs for the Red Storm.

Galva lost to Erie-Prophetstown 16-6

Brimfield-Elmwood downed Henry 5-2

Stark County outslugged Fulton 16-6. The Rebels blew the game open with a 10-run seventh inning.
