Galesburg High School's sophomore team shut out Sherrard 16-0. The Silver Streaks banged out 14 hits to the Tigers' four.

Galesburg High School's boys and girls teams won triangular meets against Knoxville and Rowva
College Baseball
Monmouth College lost to Augustana College 7-5. The Vikings broke a 3-3 tie with three runs in the fifth inning and one in the sixth. The Fighting Scots (2-10), which had 12 hits, scored a run in the top of the seventh to account for the final score.
Southeastern Community College beat Carl Sandburg College 15-2
College Softball
Illinois Wesleyan swept a doubleheader from Monmouth College. The Titans won the first game 7-2 then shut out the Fighting Scots (2-9) 8-0 in the finale. |
