| Monmouth College High Jumper Hannam Named Performer of Week |
Fresh off an All-American indoor track season, Monmouth College high jumper Tyler Hannam has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Field Event Performer of the Week.
Hannam, an Alwood High School graduate, equaled his career best in the high jump at last week's 10-team Viking Olympics hosted by Augustana College. The junior cleared 6'8" in the first outdoor meet of the season and won the event by a full two inches while also provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships to be held in May.
Hannam's mark ties him for second nationally.
