D'Agostini's 2 Goals Lead Blues Sweep of Kings
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Jaroslav Halak stopped 17 shots for his 14th NHL shutout and the St. Louis Blues beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-0 Thursday night.

Matt D'Agostini had his third career two-goal game for St. Louis, which swept Los Angeles in four games this season.

The loss, which snapped a four-game winning streak by the Kings, dropped them from fourth to fifth in the tight Western Conference.

The Blues, 10 points behind eighth-place Calgary, are likely to miss the playoffs for the fifth time in six years since their streak of 25 consecutive postseason appearances was ended.

Jonathan Quick made 35 saves for the Kings, but was beaten on a 90-foot slap shot by Alex Pietrangelo from just inside the red line with 14:51 left in the game.
