White Sox Shut Down by Farm Team
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Austin Yount and Jose Martinez had RBI singles and the minor league Winston-Salem Dash shut out the Chicago White Sox 3-0 Wednesday night.

Yount's two-out single in the bottom of the fifth inning put the Dash, the White Sox's Class-A affiliate, in the lead.

Martinez then added an insurance run with his two-out single during a two-run eighth inning.

Chicago finished its spring training schedule and will open the regular season Friday in Cleveland. The White Sox managed just three hits against three different Winston-Salem pitchers, with just one coming from its starters.

Addison Reed, a non-roster invitee, took the loss in relief for the White Sox. While he struck out five, he also gave up two hits in the fifth inning, including Yount's RBI single.
