| Blackhawks' Hendry Has Surgery to Repair Torn ACL |
CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Jordan Hendry has undergone surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Dr. Michael Terry, the team's lead physician, performed the surgery Tuesday and said it was successful. He added that Hendry should recover in six months.
The 27-year-old Hendry had four goals and nine assists in 129 regular-season games with Chicago over the last four years. He appeared in 37 games this season with one goal and was a minus-2.
