Pujols Homers as Angels and Cubs Tie
MESA, Ariz. (AP) -- Albert Pujols homered for the second straight day and the Los Angeles Angels played to a 3-all tie with the Chicago Cubs in 10 innings Saturday.

Pujols hit the first pitch he saw from left-hander Paul Maholm for a two-run homer in the first inning.

Pujols had a career batting average of .564 (22 for 49) with two homers and eight RBIs in the regular season against Maholm.

Right-hander Garrett Richards, making a bid for the fifth spot in the Angels' rotation, gave up two earned runs and six hits in six innings.
