Woodlawn Tops Carrolton to Win IHSA 1A Title
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- A.J. Webb hit a 3-pointer with 17 seconds left and Christian Hollenkamp nailed two free throws with 2.1 remaining to give Woodlawn a 48-45 win against Carrolton at the IHSA Class 1A boys basketball state title game at Carver Arena on Saturday.

Carrolton's Joey Coonrod broke free for a clean runner in the lane in between the clutch shots from Woodlawn, and the ball teased everyone by almost going in before rolling off the side of the rim and forcing the Hawks to foul Hollenkamp.

Coonrod ended the game with 16 points and 17 rebounds for the Hawks (30-5). Jordan Harr added 12 points and Mike Fraley 11 for Carrolton.

Hollenkamp finished with 15 points, Gabe Owens added 11 and Webb had 10 for the Cardinals (29-5).
