A number of area games were once again cancelled Friday due to the weather, and more are cancelled Saturday due to field conditions, and the expected snow that's on the way. For more details on what's cancelled or changed, CLICK HERE.

But baseball did go on in Galesburg Friday.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

Officials are hopeful to get in some baseball Saturday at Galesburg High School, with the annual Streaks Early Spring Invitational taking place. Friday, eight runs in the second inning helped the Streaks defeat Dixon 10-0. Drew Diaz got one of his two RBI's in the game thanks to a game-winning single. He also got a triple in the third inning.
