| CSC Men's Golf Team Finishes 2nd at LaSalle; Neal Wins Medal |
The Carl Sandburg College men's golf team just missed out on an Arrowhead Conference win Tuesday at a five-team meet hosted by Illinois Valley Community College.
It was a was next to perfect day at Senica Oak Ridge Golf Club in LaSalle, which is the home course for IVCC. The Braves of Blackhawk (310) claimed a share of first place in the conference race by nipping CSC (311).
The Chargers were lead by freshman Chris Neal (74), who won the medalist honors. Other Sandburg scores were Andrew Ledford (76), Luke Kane (79), Jordan Lieber (82) and Kyle McEwen (84).
The Chargers' next conference match will be hosted by Highland Community College April 27th.
