Cavs, Magic & Lakers Major Threats to Win NBA Title
UNDATED (AP) -- LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers again have the NBA's best record, though that got them nothing last season.

Kobe Bryant's nagging injuries could hurt the Los Angeles Lakers' chances of remaining the best of the West.

The Cavaliers, Lakers and Orlando Magic appear to be the three strongest teams entering the NBA playoffs, which open Saturday. Just don't tell the other teams that trio can't be beaten.

Dallas owner Mark Cuban says he doesn't think "anybody is afraid of anybody."

The Cavaliers play in the postseason opener against Chicago, and believe they have enough this year to finally get James his first ring. With Shaquille O'Neal and Antawn Jamison joining James up front, coach Mike Brown says Cavs management "got the pieces."
