After just two meets, the Monmouth College men's track team is ranked among the nation's best by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Fighting Scots debuted at No. 24 in the latest USTFCCCA power rankings released Wednesday. Monmouth took advantage of nearly ideal weather conditions and a plethora of Division I competition at last weekend's Lee Calhoun Invitational at Macomb to turn in some of their best performances of the year.
Monmouth earned 49.33 points in the Week 2 rankings and is just 2.35 points out of a top 20 ranking.
