MEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL FINAL FOUR
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- It was the final day of practice for the Final Four teams ahead of Saturday night's national semifinals. All four teams were on the court at Lucas Oil Stadium for public workouts. Saturday evening's opener pits Michigan State against local favorite Butler in a matchup of No. 5 seeds. The nightcap will feature the only No. 1 seed to make it to Indianapolis. Duke will be taking on West Virginia, a two seed.
MEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL-AWARDS
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Ohio State junior swingman Evan Turner is a runaway choice as The Associated Press' college basketball player of the year. And Jim Boeheim is The Associated Press' college basketball coach of the year after leading a Syracuse team that was unranked in the preseason poll to No. 1 late in the season.
