Butler Makes NCAA Championship Game
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Gordon Hayward scored 19 points and collected the final rebound, sending little Butler to its biggest victory, a 52-50 win over Michigan State in the Final Four.

Call it "Hoosiers," the sequel.

The small school, playing just 5.6 miles from its campus, took down another of college basketball's biggest names. They forced the Spartans into a sloppy game and capitalizing on their injuries and foul trouble. The win extended Butler's nation's best winning streak to 25.

Butler won despite shooting just 30.6 percent for the game, including 24 percent in the second half. Butler went more than 10 minutes without a basket down the stretch. Shelvin Mack was the only other Bulldog in double figures with 14. But Butler scored 20 points off 16 Michigan State turnovers, and that was the difference.

Durrell Summers was high man for Michigan State with 14. The Spartans shot 42.9 percent for the game.
