| Championship Game Loss Doesn't Deter Butler Celebration |
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Even President Barack Obama is jumping on the Butler bandwagon. Team spokesman Jim McGrath said Tuesday the president was to make a not-so-customary phone call to Brad Stevens, coach of the national runner-up. The Bulldogs lost to Duke 61-59 Monday night in a riveting finish to the closest title game in two decades. Obama's interest in the team is shared by many. Fans were streaming through Hinkle Fieldhouse less than 24 hours after the game to take pictures. A celebratory rally for the team was scheduled for the afternoon.
