Pacers Embrace Underdog Role
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Reggie Miller tweeted his congratulations when he found out the Indiana Pacers made the playoffs.

The team he helped make famous hadn't reached the postseason since 2006, and he says he's glad to see them return. Like most people, he doesn't give the eighth-seeded Pacers much of a chance against the Chicago Bulls in the best-of-seven series that starts Saturday.

The Bulls have the league's best record and won three of the four meetings between the teams this season. Many Pacers say Chicago guard Derrick Rose should be the league's most valuable player.

Pacers interim coach Frank Vogel says his team plays well against the odds. He says Indiana isn't satisfied with just reaching the playoffs.
