Skrivseth was chosen after an extensive but efficient search that netted more than 200 applicants. Skrivseth is a native of Maquoketa, Iowa and played his college ball at Coe, which at the time was a member of the Midwest Conference. Skrivseth becomes the 26th coach in Monmouth College history, replacing Mark Vershaw, who was let go after the Fighting Scots posted just one conference win this past season.
