HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS
GHS Invitational Saturday at the Art Fish Tennis Courts. The Courts will be dedicated in Fish's honor starting at 8:30am, followed by the tournament. Fish was a longtime teacher and coach in the Galesburg School District.
COLLEGE GOLF
The Knox College men's golf team is tied for second place after the first round of the Scot-Fire Invitational Friday at Soangetaha Country Club. The Prairie Fire shot a 1-over par nine-hole score of 145, five strokes behind first round leader Millikin University (-1, 140). Knox shares second in the team standings with Black Hawk Community College. The first round was limited to nine holes because of wet playing conditions on the golf course.
