Woods' Swing Coach Says Criticism Out of Hand
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Tiger Woods' swing coach says criticism of his client is getting out of hand.

Sean Foley says Woods is an important part of the game and the reason PGA Tour prize money has quadrupled since he turned pro in 1996. He says it has reached the point where the tearing down of Woods as a person and a golfer has become too much.

Foley made his comments this week on a radio show called ''Fairways of Life'' with Matt Adams that is carried on XM Sirius. They were his final comments of a 20-minute interview, and the coach raised the issue without prompting.

He says the media should try to lift him up instead of tearing him down, adding that golf is better off because of his existence.
