| Streaks Girls Soccer Team Draws #2 Seed |
POSTED 1:08 p-m 5/3/10 Galesburg High School's girls soccer team will be playing at home in the first round of the postseason.
The Silver Streaks are seeded #2 in their own Class 2A Regional. GHS meets #3 seeded Bartonville-Limestone May 19th at 4 p-m. The winner advances to the regional championship game May 22nd at 4 p-m.
The first semifinal matchup on May 18th features #1 Dunlap playing #4 Orion.
The Galesburg, Geneseo, Metamora and Peoria Notre Dame Regionals feed into the Rock Island Sectional. The Galesburg Regional winner squares off against the PND Regional in the first sectional semifinal game May 26th at 4 p-m. The other semifinal game between the winners of the Geneseo and Metamora Regionals follows at 6:30 p-m.
The sectional championship game is May 29th at 1 p-m. |
