Monmouth College sprinter Luke Reschke of Geneseo has punched his ticket to the finals of the 400-meter dash at 2010 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in Berea, Ohio.

Reschke will shoot for his fourth outdoor All-American award and his ninth overall Saturday after clocking the meet's fastest time of 47.12 in Friday's preliminaries. Gloria Lehr of Knoxville heaved a career-best 44'4-3/4" in the shot put, but missed qualifying for the finals by less than six inches. The mark was less than an inch off the Monmouth record. The senior will have one last chance at her first All-American award Saturday when she competes in the discus. It will be her third event at the championships. No other Scot had qualified for more events this year.
