Danica Ends Rocky Indy Week With Solid Finish
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Andretti Autosport's roller coaster week at the Brickyard ended the same way it began: with a little off-track drama.

The racing operation overcame a poor qualifying effort to put three drivers in the top 11 at Sunday's Indy 500.

Marco Andretti finished third, with Danica Patrick sixth and Tony Kanaan 11th. Ryan Hunter-Reay also was running in the top 10 before running out of gas and crashing on lap 198.

It took a lengthy post-race review, however, to boost Andretti into third. IndyCar officials ruled more than two hours after the race that Andretti was passed illegally by three drivers, including Patrick, under caution on the final lap.

Team owner Michael Andretti praised each of his drivers, saying he wasn't worried even though none of his team's five drivers qualified in the top 15.
