Busch Beats Gordon to Grab Richmond Win
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Kyle Busch raced to his first Sprint Cup victory of the season, passing Jeff Gordon after a late restart at Richmond International Raceway.

Busch started from the pole Saturday night and embarrassed the field early by lapping half the competition. The racing eventually evened out and Busch's car faded just a bit.

That turned control over to Gordon, who has been in position late to win at least three other races this season only to come up short.

Gordon seemed to have it locked up until two late cautions gave Busch another chance. Busch passed Gordon shortly after the final restart with five laps to go, and Gordon settled for second. Kevin Harvick was third, followed by Jeff Burton and Carl Edwards.
