| ROWVA's Lepisto Signs to Play Basketball at Carl Sandburg College |
POSTED 10:36 a-m 5/5/10, UPDATED 7:08 a-m 5/6/10 The Carl Sandburg College men's basketball team is adding a versatile player from Knox County to next year's squad.
CSC head coach Ryan Twaddle says Caleb Lepisto has signed a letter of intent to attend the college and play basketball for the Chargers. Lepisto is a combo guard/forward from ROWVA High School. He averaged nine points, six rebounds and five assists per game during his senior season and was named an honorable mention member of the Lincoln Trail Conference All-Conference boys basketball team.
"We are happy to have Caleb join our program. He was well coached at ROWVA under Coach (Jason) Lydic," Twaddle said. "We hope that the passion that Caleb has for basketball will rub off on his teammates. Caleb loves to be in the gym and he wants to improve every day."
