The Chargers shot well in the gusting wind Wednesday at Byron Hills, where Black Hawk College holds its home matches.

CSC fought through gusting wind and won the match with a score of 305, three shots ahead of Sauk Valley. The victory by CSC pushes the team's lead to three points in the conference standings with one match to go.

Carl Sandburg College concludes conference play on Friday as Sauk Valley hosts the season's fifth and final match.

"Finally the hard work Luke (Kane) and Kyle (McEwen) put in came to the surface, said coach K.C. Harding. "I couldn't be any prouder of them and all the guys."
