@ Prairieland Conference meet - Bushnell-Prairie City High School:

Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon-West Prairie came away with the league title, finishing with 169.5 points. Elmwood placed second, 36.5 points behind the Spartans. Lewistown was third, Knoxville fourth and North Fulton finished fifth in the eight-team event.

Galva won a triangular meet at ROWVA that also included Stark County. The Wildcats scored 98 points to ROWVA's 62.5. Stark County finished third with 14.5 points.


@ Prairieland Conference meet - Bushnell-Prairie City High School:

Elmwood placed first (155.5), 4 1/2 points ahead of host Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon-West Prairie. Knoxville finished third, Havana fourth and Peoria Heights fifth in the eight-team meet.

ROWVA won a triangular meet against Galva and Stark County. The Tigers scored 71 points, six better than the runner-up Rebels. The Wildcats placed third with 22 points.

High School Boys Tennis

Galesburg lost a Western Big Six dual meet against Moline 8-1. Brandon Meeker won at #1 singles to provide the Silver Streaks only point. Coach Julia Kuehn says her squad was without some of its key players for a reason that wasn't disclosed The Maroons also won the junior varsity match 8-1.
