PARIS (AP) -- Novak Djokovic did not add to his 41-match winning streak in Friday's play at the French Open. But the streak didn't end either. The second-seed's third round match with Juan Martin del Potro was suspended by darkness tied at a set each. They're set to resume Saturday.
Third-seed Roger Federer defeated Janko Tipsarevich 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 to reach the fourth round.
For the first time in the Open era, the top two seeds failed to reach the round of 16 at a Grand Slam event.
Top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki was routed by 28th-seeded Daniela Hantuchova 6-1, 6-3, a day after second-seeded Kim Clijsters was bounced from the French Open.
