| Rose: Bulls need to pick up effort |
DEERFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Derrick Rose saw one team playing harder, chasing down loose balls and scoring easy baskets, and one big problem.
It wasn't his team with the superior effort. Rose's Chicago Bulls lost 100-88 at Atlanta on Sunday night, leaving their Eastern Conference semifinal series tied at 2.
Rose says the Hawks ``just played harder'' in Game 4. Game 5 is Tuesday at the United Center, and another lackluster effort could put the top-seeded Bulls on the brink of elimination.
That's not what they envisioned after breezing to a league-leading 62 wins and s securing home-court advantage, but the playoffs have been far from easy for them. Indiana pushed Chicago in a tough first-round series and Atlanta isn't backing down, either.
