| Quincy Student to Golf for CSC |
A Quincy High golfer will join the Carl Sandburg College men’s golf team during the 2011-12 season.
Mike Davis, who graduates from Quincy Senior High School this month, had an 18-hole average of 75 in his final season as a member of the Blue Devils boys golf team.
Davis won the 2010 Quincy Junior City tournament and took first in the 61st Annual Quincy Senior High School Invitational via a birdie on the second playoff hole.
CSC coach K.C. Harding says he looks for Davis to make an immediate impact next year. |
