| Judge Won't Delay Jerry Sandusky's Sex-abuse Trial |
BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) -- A judge has denied a request from former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky to delay the June 5 start of his child sex-abuse trial. Judge John Cleland on Wednesday denied defense attorney Joe Amendola Cleland says no trial date is perfect but that, on balance, starting the trial on Tuesday is best for the defendant and alleged victims.
