The ROWVA Softball team defeated Mercer County 8-1 today. Emma Johnson was the winning pitcher with a record of 5-3 and had two strikeouts. Marysa Remick had three hits (two of them doubles), Megan Steck and Haley Wilckens each had two hits. In their second game of the Mercer Co. First Midwest Bank Softball Classic, ROWVA also defeated West Carroll today 4-1. The winning pitcher was Megan Foglesong with a record of 13-5 and had six strikeouts. Danielle Williams led off the 2nd inning with a triple and Megan Steck had two RBI. After these games today, ROWVA improves to 18-9 and won the Mercer Co. First Midwest Bank Softball Classic.
The United Softball team defeated Galva-Williamsfield 11-3 in the first game and 8-4 in the second game.
The Galesburg JV Softball team lost both of their games against Alleman today. Brittney Fields pitched the first game with a loss of 10-0. Katie Dejaynes pitched the second game with a loss of 15-5. Their next game will be held on Monday at 4:30 pm at home. |
