| 76ers Look to Close Out Bulls at Home in Game 6 |
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Philadelphia 76ers can win their first postseason series since 2003 with a Game 6 win on Thursday.
Beat the top-seeded Chicago Bulls and the Sixers will truly have a milestone worth celebrating.
The Sixers are trying to become the fifth No. 8 seed to win a first-round series against a No. 1 seed. Memphis eliminated San Antonio last season, Golden State (2007), New York (1999) and Denver (1994) also pulled off the rare feat.
The Bulls won Game 5, 77-69, to cut Philadelphia's lead to 3-2 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference playoff series.
The Bulls believe they can win Game 6 and force a decisive Game 7 at home.
