|Heat, Bulls Both Looking for Game 2 Improvements
|MIAMI (AP) -- There was a shared sentiment from the Chicago and Miami camps on Tuesday. Both teams insisted they need to improve in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
That's more obvious in Miami's case.
The reigning NBA champions finished with the league's best record, though now find themselves in trouble after dropping Monday's series opener. The Heat shot just under 40 percent, their second-worst showing in 87 games overall this season.
There were other anomalies, such as Chicago scoring 35 points in the fourth quarter, matching the most Miami has allowed all season. Still, the Heat know things need to change in a hurry, with coach Erik Spoelstra saying on Tuesday that his club is already fighting for its playoff lives.
Game 2 is Wednesday in Miami.
