Blackhawks To Face Red Wings in Playoffs
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Blackhawks finally have an opponent for their Western Conference semifinal series, and it's an oh-so-familiar one.

The Detroit Red Wings beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in Game 7 on Sunday night, setting up a second-round matchup of two of the NHL's "Original Six" franchises. It's quite the development for a league still recovering from a costly lockout.

Chicago has won its last seven games against Detroit, but those all came in the regular season and Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews says the winning streak doesn't mean anything now.

The will be the first postseason meeting between the proud franchises since 2009, when the Red Wings beat the Blackhawks in five games in the conference finals.
