| Former United Football Player to CSC for Cross Country |
A former high school football standout is trying his hand at cross country at the next level.
Carl Sandburg College head cross country coach Bruce Tracy says Logan Hickerson has signed with the Chargers for the upcoming season.
Hickerson, a 2010 United High School graduate, played defensive lineman for the Red Storm football team that made a deep playoff run last season. He was named a member of the 2008 West Prairie Trail-Northwest all-conference team.
The CSC men's cross country squad begins the new campaign September 3rd at the WIU Early Bird in Macomb. |
