EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ It was an upbeat Avery Johnson who met the media Tuesday as he was introduced as the new head coach of the New Jersey Nets.
Avery Johnson figures "the sky is the limit'' for a franchise that opened this season on an 18-game losing streak and finished 12-70. Johnson said his new team has the potential to go from the NBA's worst team to the best, although he's offering no timeline.
