It wasn't easy, but Galesburg Post 285 remains undefeated on the young season.
Galesburg came back from a 6-0 deficit in the sixth inning to beat Oneida 9-7 on Wednesday. Post 285 tied the game in the bottom of the sixth, fell behind again 7-6 in the seventh before scoring two in the eighth to pick up the victory.
Galesburg took advantage of nine Oneida (5-2) walks to improve to 6-0 on the season. The team, with an off-day on Thursday, travels to the Chicago area to play in the Wilmette Tournament starting Friday. |
