Galesburg - 13 (25-13)
Metamora - 6 (24-14)
The Silver Streaks won their 10th straight game and advance to the sectional championship game with the semifinal victory. Galesburg broke open a 5-4 lead in the seventh inning with eight runs and cruised. Nick Milligan drove in four runs and Andrew Steck added two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs. Tyler Farrell earned his fifth win of the season on the mound.
Streator - 8 (29-6)
Rock Island - 7 (31-5)
The Bulldogs knocked off the favored Rocks in the second semifinal game to advance.
- Galesburg and Streator meet in the championship game Saturday at Noon for a spot in Monday's Rock Island Supersectional at Augustana College
