| Kewanee Basketball Standout to Play for CSC Women's Squad |
An all-conference basketball player from Kewanee is bringing her game to Carl Sandburg College next season.
CSC women's basketball head coach Mike Bailey announced the signing of Kaylee German to the 2010-11 roster.
German, a guard from Kewanee High School, averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 assists per game during her senior season. She received second team All-NCIC (North Central Illinois Conference) honors and was a member of Kewanee's Martin Luther King Jr. All-Tournament team.
"I'm excited to get someone of her quality this time of year," Bailey said. "She fits in very well with what we are going to try and do system-wise next year. She gives us nice depth at the guard spot with the potential to come in and start right away."
