Flyers Win Second Straight Against Blackhawks to Even Finals at 2-2
PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ The Stanley Cup finals have become a best-of-three after the Philadelphia Flyers knotted the series at two games apiece Friday night.

Mike Richards and Matt Carle notched breakaway goals to give the Flyers a 2-0 lead in the first period of a 5-3 triumph over the Chicago Blackhawks. Richards put the Flyers ahead to stay with a power-play goal 4:35 into the game.

Claude Giroux and Ville Leino also tallied for the Flyers, who dropped the first two games of the series before taking two straight in Philly.

Philadelphia led 4-1 midway through the third period until Dave Bolland scored on a 5-on-3 power play. Brian Campbell turned it into a one-goal game with 4:10 remaining before Jeff Carter sealed the outcome with an empty-netter in the final minute.

Michael Leighton finished with 31 saves in what he called his best game of the series.

Patrick Sharp also tallied for the Hawks, who host Game 5 on Sunday.
