| Rich East High School Product Signs to Play Women's Basketball at CSC |
An all-conference basketball player from the Chicagoland area is bringing her court skills to Carl Sandburg College.
CSC coach Mike Bailey says Diamond Burt of Park Forest has signed to play for the Chargers next season.
Burt, a guard/forward from Rich East High School, averaged 14.2 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.4 assists per game during her senior season. She is a two-time Southland Conference All-Conference player.
"Burt is a hardnosed ball player," Bailey said. "She plays the game at full speed. She fits in perfectly with the rest of our players. We are looking forward to her being part of the club." |
