Four from Abingdon Named Prairieland All-Conference Baseball
POSTED 11:27 a-m 6/2/10 Four Abingdon baseball players are among the Prairieland Conference All-Conference baseball selections.

The league has released its list of 1st and 2nd team and special mention members, broken down by pitchers and fielders.

Two of the four Commandos were named to the 1st team: Clifford Moshier and Jesse Hines, both as fielders. The Abingdon 2nd team picks are Brad Siedel in the field and Jacob Perdue as a pitcher.

North Fulton has five all-conference players. Brandon Shaw is a unanimous 1st team selection as a pitcher and Jesse Shaw earned special mention recognition as a hurler. Travis Windsor is a 1st team pick as a fielder, Beriah Quick was named 2nd team all-conference as a fielder and John Davis was a special mention selection in the field.

Lewistown placed four on the all-conference squad. Quinton Hatfill is a 1st team selection in the field and teammate Jeremy Sheets received 1st team recognition on the mound. Kyle Rice is a 2nd team pick in the field and Brody Welker received special mention as a fielder.

Brimfield-Elmwood led all Prarieland teams with six all-conference selections. Three are unanimous 1st teamers: Ethan Westart and Nick Unes in the field and pitcher Luke Staub. The Indians named 2nd team all-conference are Andrew England and Dan Dwyer in the field and Nick Huber on the mound.

Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon placed on player on the 2nd team, Zack Anderson as a fielder. Peoria Heights also has a 2nd team all-conference player in the field - Jake Kepler.

South Fulton has four players on the all-conference squad. Aaron Parsano is a 1st team pick in the field, Chase Bair made the 2nd team as a fielder and Dakota Vaughn is a 2nd team member on the mound and Myles Taylor is a special mention pick as a fielder.

Five players from Havana received all-conference recognition, including 1st team pitcher Travis Davenport.
