The Galesburg Legion baseball team is scheduled to play Pekin Monday at 6pm. Post 285 is coming off of a weekend that saw them win 4 out of 5 games at the Wheaton Tournament. The team will also be home for a doubleheader Tuesday with Farmington starting at 5:30.
The Galesburg Wildcats 16 and under traveling softball team hosted an 8-team tournament over the weekend. The Wildcats won the championship, defeating Metamora 5-0. Katie McGee got the pitching victory and Madison Newberry had a pair of doubles and scored twice. The Galesburg Streaks team took consolation title. |
