| Iowa Seeks Details About Employees' Free Vehicles |
IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- University of Iowa athletics officials are collecting details about the free cars some coaches and employees drive.
The university released data Tuesday showing that at least 57 coaches, assistant coaches, athletics department employees and spouses drive vehicles donated by car dealers. The school said it had no information about the makes and models currently driven by 10 employees, including baseball coach Jack Dahm, wrestling coach Tom Brands and softball coach Marla Looper.
Employees say they've received an inquiry from an associate athletics director asking them for information. (Copyright 2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
