Luongo Looks to Shake Struggles Heading to Game 5
BOSTON (AP) -- The Canucks have finally rushed to Roberto Luongo's defense after the goalie's two-game shellacking in Boston.

Most of the 12 goals allowed by Luongo weren't his fault, defenseman Kevin Bieksa claims. Luongo might have been pulled from a crucial Game 4 in the Stanley Cup finals, but the star goalie will get himself together in time for Game 5 on Friday night, captain Henrik Sedin promises.

If only the Canucks had provided that much support to Luongo on the ice, maybe they wouldn't be headed home with their series lead completely evaporated after a fruitless trip back East.

Boston goalie Tim Thomas has thoroughly outplayed his counterpart through four games in the Stanley Cup finals, which are tied heading back to Vancouver.
