| MLB Draft Selects Two GHS Grads |
Two former Galesburg High School baseball players were chosen Wednesday in the Major League Baseball Draft. 2008 graduate Kyle Hunter, who pitches for Kansas State University, was taken in the 31st round by the Seattle Mariners.
And recent graduate Tyler Farrell was chosen in the 43rd round by the New York Yankees. Farrell is currently playing with the Galesburg Post 285 Legion team, which is scheduled to play Macomb Thursday evening at Western Illinois University. |
