Galesburg boxer George Carter, Jr. won his super middleweight bout in Davenport, IA Sunday night.
Carter moved to 6 and 0 in his professional career as he scored a six round unanimous decision over William Deets of Kearney, NE. Carter's manger Carlos Duncan, of the Galesburg Youth Athletic Club, says George did everything he needed to do to win the bout and did a good job overall.
Carter will be back in action in August back in Davenport. |
