The Galesburg Post 285 American Legion baseball team will head for home following an impressive run at the Decker Sports Classic baseball tournament in Omaha, Nebraska.
Galesburg started Saturday morning with a forfeit win over Walden, Indiana. They then bowed out after a 4-0 loss to a very solid Omaha Papillio team in the quarterfinals Saturday night.
Post 285 finished the tournament with a 5-1 record, including a victory over the defending tournament champions to win their pool. |
