| Legion Wins Wednesday, So Does Relay for Life |
The Galesburg Post 285 legion baseball team picked up its 16th win of the summer by rallying for two runs in the 9th inning for a 3-2 victory over Moline Wednesday night.
Luke Ryan's two-out single scored Nick Milligan to tie the game, and was followed by Nate Olin's game winning hit, giving Galesburg the win on cancer benefit night. Proceeds from the game were donated to the local relay-for-life effort.
Post 285 has a record of 16-3, with a doubleheader scheduled for Thursday against Reynolds. |
